They turned out alright but I took the swedges too far back so they go into the spine rather than meet on the point where the clip meets the spine. I'll be fixing it up by grinding the clip a bit deeper, it need to move about 2mm back.

Got a bit further with this one today. Fixed up the clip point. Adjusted the final open/halfstop/closed positions. Adjusted the spring tension. Soldered the bolsters on. Now I need to wait for the handle material to arrive before I can do anymore.

Also played with an offcut of mokuti. That is just sanded to 240 so I will take it to a much higher grit before I do the final colouring.

Works just the same as any Titanium as far as I can tell.

Well I had ordered some mammoth ivory to go on the handle of that Lanny's Clip but I was a bit of a muppet and measured the wrong width of the handle.

I measured somewhere around about where the blue line is but I actually need a piece the size of the red box which unfortunately none of the bit I have quite do

So now I am trying to figure out what to use instead. I don't have any bits of stag large enough for it. I could either go for some Mammoth Bone I have or some Desert Ironwood.

Alternatively I could use some green or brown canvas micarta, or I might have some jigged bone that would be suitable. All suit a more traditional style of handle on it.

Or I could go modern and use CF or LSCF on it. Suffering a bit of indecision atm.

I'm a sucker for micarta Al. It's a shame about the Mammoth Ivory. It sounds like something I'd do
