Admiralty Pattern 301 (AP310)

Issued to the RN from about about 1910, maybe earlier. Because the RN and the RAN worked very closely together on WW1 there can be no doubt that this pattern knife would have seen service with Austarlian sailors (Aussie Pusser's). I know of one that came home with a Gallipoli veteran. I have no idea where he obtained it.

Some of these these knives have some really beautiful Stag scales. The springs snap like a crocodile. They are a big, heavy, solid knife!

These knives really have character.

I know that I am not the only forum member to be fortunate enough to have some of these in my collection!
