Hi Ozbiker

That is a lovely example of the British 6353/1905 pattern clasp knife.

The booklet "Recruits Companion" shows that this pattern clasp knife was standard issue to recruits in the Australian Army by June 1918.

Knife, clasp, with marline spike and tin opener.

Thanks Dutchy great info. This clasp knife is in great condition for its age bit slow to snap in the blade.

I forgot to comment on this one yesterday. Thats a beauty Ozbiker, it looks to be in great condition. Sometimes being a bit slow on closing can be improved by giving the joints a good clean.
