View Full Version : T.Ellin & Co Clasp Knife

Not sure how old this is. Ellin used the trademark Vulcan in later years this one is before that so after 1840. There are conflicting post about when they changed over to the Vulcan trade mark. Its in very good condition for its age blade sits a bit proud but i do not as a rule do anymore than oil these old girls. Any information you guys have is very welcome.2799027991

To Quote GOINS T.ELLIN & CO 1784-1970,Thomas Ellin was at the Sylvester works ,Arundel,st Sheffield, England. The trade marks used by them date from 1846 They made all types of cutlery,including " bowie ' type knives .They were taken over by the Joseph Elliot& son about 1944
