New version of the Knife Makers File Guide: V4 takes 70 mm wide and 40 mm thick blade

Thanks to those helping with ideas for how to make the file guides even better!

The "V4" of the CreativeMan file guide is now available for those wanting perfectly matching bevels,
Faster and more accurate guard fitting and square shoulders on stick tang blades.

    New:
    • Carbides closer together
    • accepts wider blades (up to 70 mm wide blades)
    • accepts thicker blades/guards (up to 40 mm thick)
    • guide rods in tungsten carbide for increased stability

    Plus the already:
    • stainless steel body, does not rust from being dunked in water during post-HT grinding
    • non-magnetic, steel dust does not stick to it
    • carbides screw on for max strength
    • recessed bolt heads for fitting on both sides of the platen (bolts stick out on right side, where there is no tooling arm)
    • carbide faced last longer than just hardened steel face, 78 HRC

Cost is $129 delivered in Australia.
