Welcome to the forum. CPM 3v is on my list although I'm yet to try it. I've tried A2 and been disappointed by its lack of toughness.

I only had a few knives in 1095, Aus 8 e or similar mostly used them for work and it was frustrating to maintain for everyday use. the 3V knives ive used haven't chipped so major plus for me with edge maintenance

I have a bit of an interest in bush knives for camping and fishing. I have a Becker bk2 which I've used a fair bit, love the ease of sharpening it. I haven't really hammered it into much, I'm keen to get a tough BRKT chopper in CPM3V.
