2 x 72" Grinder Bulk Buy "Shop Master" by 84 Engineering

Many will remember the grinder bulk buys of the past that got us started selling knife making supplies in Australia.

Well we are at it again!
in celebration of our long awaited release of an 84 Engineering, Australian 2 x 72" Knife Grinder, we are running the first production run as a discounted bulk buy.
We have 40 grinders available. They won't last long at all!

Delivery on these grinders will start in early June.
There is a lot of money involved here so we recommend reading everything! If you have questions, please ask.
This is not about supplying a cheap grinder that will give us all headaches down the track, but the best possible value for money.
You can either pay a deposit or pay in full to reserve your grinder.

    1) These are Australian Made. 100% top notch locally supported quality. Wheels and all.
    2) These have injection moulded rubber wheels. The super robust wheels from before polyurethane. Think about those multitools from 30 years ago that still have the original rubber wheels. Australian Machining, Australian Rubber, High end bearings.
    3) multiple size contact wheel options (2” and 3” standard) all rubber coated. Option to add a 5" contact wheel to the rotating platen.
    4) The Australian designed 84 Engineering tracking system that has helped make the Noob and Shopmate grinders, be by far and away the best performance grinders in their class. Rather than using the simple method of domed wheels and a tracking wheel that adjusts in the vertical plane applying pressure to the sides of the belt, this system adjusts in the horizontal plane with hardly any wheel doming protecting the belts from the negative effects of point loading.
    5) A super strong and robust frame. Simple, effective, heavy robust. This Frame is solid 10mm steel plate.
    6) everything non essential cut to ensure simplicity, ease of shipping and assembly.
    7) optional VFD and motor combination. Australian designed and assembled. Motor mounted and plug and play.
    8) Universal accessory mounting system taking attachments from pretty much all the common 2 x 72 grinders and with some adapters/different arms, the noob and shopmate grinderst. INClUDING the Noob/shopmate horizontal/vertical grinding floor post mount.
    9) extended platen and standard fixed toolrest with adjustable rest option.

We will be kicking off with four packages to get started.
Package 1) This will be for the flat packed grinder frame, standard tool rest and wheels. This package assumes you have your own motor. The motor size is a B14, 90s frame. Shaft size is 24mm for the drive wheel. This option is $865.

Package 2) This package includes the Frame and wheels from package 1 and also a 2HP 1.5 KW variable speed motor with motor mounted plug and play, pre programmed VFD. $1899.
Once assembled this kit is plug and play.

Package 3) This package will be the deluxe package with the common accessories. it will include:
Integral VFD mounted on 2HP motor.
    Universal tool rest
    Small Wheel tool arm
Small wheel attachment with 25 and 20mm small wheels
    5" Contact Wheel
Floor mount pedestal with flipping plate.
    $2799

Package 4) This is an option if you know your way around VFDs and you are after a seperate VFD system. This is not recommended for the novice. This kit includes the Teco 2hp motor and E510 VFD + wiring kit to suit. It should be installed by a licensed electrician. $1749.

As in the grinders or the linked platen?
Yes to both, just need to get my shit together.

Also we have sold nearly half of the 40 discounted grinders so if you are on the fence, get off it ;-)
