    Hi Guys,
Yes I have one. I bought it and was greatly disappointed as it looked like a switchblade but wasn't. The button doesn't operate anything. Its a Shelham and was marked made in Japan. It has a model no but I can't remember what it was.

It is around somewhere but I don't look at it much as I think its an unattractive knife.

I bought it at Sherry's disposals in Brisbane when they were in Adelaide st opposite the City Hall.

-20191105_192702-jpgThis is the one I carried at school. It soon developed severe blade play.In later years it was used regularly to short the terminals on a troublesome starter motor on my first car.

That is definitely a blast from the past, i also had a few of them. I always had them hidden in my bedroom so my parents didn't find them.
I bought mine from a toy shop that also sold guns and knives, they were the good old days.

    We played schoolboys league.
The coach was a lovely man, and father of one of us.
At the end of the year he gave us all a folder. Solingen stamped on the blade. One blade, one flat screwdriver.
I did a trade, travelled for years, fixed a lot of crap, lived.
Replaced the handle “leaves” (I called them), and wore the thing out.
Lost track of it about the time I went through a divorce and had to move towns.

I remember that man. He was a good man and taught me some of life’s simple rules. Not football.

Most of those guys I haven’t seen for twenty or thirty years, but I reckon Ray sticks in all their hearts.
