building a Pathfinder basics course kit

as most would know here I love building survival kits, and am a fan of Dave Canterbury and have been going though some of his older vids recently, and came upon this vid, so decided to build the kit associated with this course, as if I was going to attend his basics course weekend.

I have all the various gear, I just have to assemble the stuff into a 'kit' (and the few bits I didn't have I have ordered and will add to the kit), I plan on doing a vid on it when the kit is complete.

I understand some of this stuff isn't relevant to where I live (thermal regulation in Brisbane isn't a priority so a wool blanket isn't really a necessity, but I will stay true to the kit and include it as an example)

I think Iíve acquired enough crap to build ten or more of those!

One day, Iíd love to get back over there and do the class, but there is a guy in QLD running similar who was recently doing one with Dave C when he was over here. Itís on a couple of his videos from a month or so back.

Oh, if youíre buying direct, wait for Thanksgiving, as the shop almost always does a site wide discount for Black Friday.

I won't ever be doing Dave's course (unless I win lotto) as I doubt I will ever get over to America, I will have to look up that fella in Qld, though again cost will be a factor, it seems as soon as 'survival' is mentioned the price goes up

Plus, like you mate I have enough excess gear to make plenty of kits, it's just an exercise I like to do. I have identified some gear (like duct tape) that I was getting low in and had to buy again though. Got on to some T-Rex tape, supposed to be really good, going to try it out, bloody expensive but looks good.

I have collected a bunch of stuff from fish hooks to water proof matches to make up kits but not done much about it.
I still have quite a few of my stainless steel mirrors if anyone needs them.
