2018, most people have a card reader BUT it's still not everyone. Cash is still King! Also, you can't spend more than you intended if you bring spending cash ;-)

    Cash is definitely King.

You generally have a better chance of a discount if you buy two or more with cash from a maker. Once you introduce card fees, don’t expect the same deals.

the Canberra knife show was a soft start for my first foray into selling to the public.

Rather than being daunting it was a pleasure.
Karim and the crew of Tharwa Valley Forge are the best hosts ever. The venue of Cuppacumbalong (outdoors) was just brilliant.
The public were relaxed and friendly, although how could you not be in such a lovely setting.
I even sold one of my knives which I did not expect to going into the day. I took it very much as a lets just see what happens type of thing.
Not even the wind or the occasional shower of rain took the shine off the day as a whole.
A great big thanks to all the organisers and vendors that made it a great day.

No, unfortunately, I didn't realise I had booked myself to play with a team on the same day. A momentary lapse of sanity ...
Quantum physics is a bit of a passion of mine. It's extraordinary. There's a branch of mathematics that is based on lunacy, and that's wonderful.
