    2018 wip

    Hey Guys,
Got a heap on the go at the moment. Think I have 17 heat treated and tempered knives. Lots of hand sanding and glue ups to come. Majority will be stock for the Perth show next Feb!

Parer and Slicer are San Mai of 52100 cores with 416 cladding (I forged the san mai down at Bruce's - Rolling mill helps a lot!)

    Vege Cleaver is CPM154

Camp Knife is 52100 also forged

I have two dogs, but they look a bit more like buffing mops.
There are days I would like to use them as such...

    Oooh. 10 deg. That's harsh.
I'm not sure if it was good idea or not but I put a thermometer in my workshop. Was out there soldering some bolsters just before and it was reading 12deg.
Thankfully I have all my hand sanding done on this batch of blades.

Nice work mate, forging that San Mai sounds pretty involved.
