    Hi Keith

Do these wheels need oil or water to use? Why would the 10" be used instead of the 8"? Do you have any links to the product being used?

    Cheers

No water or oil , wax on coarse wheel and jewelers compound on strop wheel .
They are really easy to use and you get a excellent edge very quickly .

Different size wheels for different bench grinders sizes.

Cheers, so knife length doest matter against wheel size.
