    Harpoon Hunter

I managed to finish making a sheath for this recently completed harpoon tipped hunter today.
It was a fun project and i plan on doing a couple more in the future, it has a 5" 1095 blade hardened to 59rc with a 5" stabilised fiddleback Minnirichie handle with 416 stainless guard and pin.

hope you enjoy and thanks for looking :-)

Fantastic bit of work, knife and sheath.
Quantum physics is a bit of a passion of mine. It's extraordinary. There's a branch of mathematics that is based on lunacy, and that's wonderful.

Hi Mark, that’s a really nice looking knife mate, I really like the handle wood and the guard with spacer.

Thanks Doug, it was a pretty special bit of wood mate, normally pretty rare to find minneritchie with a tight curl like this.
The fella that ordered it works in a gold/copper mine up sandfire way and wanted the handle in some timber that grows in the area, i also tried to replicate the red ochre pindan dirt and rock on the face of the sheath.
