    Slipjoint folder course

Just home after an epic weekend doing a 3 day slip joint folder course with my mates Bruce Barnett, Jason Towball and Ian Stewart, We decided on making single blade sowbellies and the pattern turned out really nice, Towball and Ian went down a few days earlier to make the damascus billets for the blades and big shout out goes to Towie for supplying me a slice from his feather loaf for my knife, I had a pair of mammoth ivory scales i had picked up from blade show that i used and the other 3 knives were dressed in jigged bone, Bruce is a fantastic teacher and there was much piss taking and beers drunk at the end of each day, to say i'm absolutely stoked with the out come is an understatement and i recommend anyone wanting to make there own traditional folder to get in contact with Bruce Barnett 🍻🍻
