    San Maii hunter

This was a fun little project, i forged the blade a few months ago from some Takefu V Toku 2 and used a piece of stabilised spalted sassafras that i had put away for the handle, the fittings are 416 stainless with a domed pin and i finally got around to making a sheath for it today as workshop time has been very limited.

    Blade is 4 1/2" (115mm)
    Handle is 4 7/8" (120mm)
    LOA. 9 7/8" (250mm)

Great work Mark, that sheath is a thing of beauty with the dark edges fading to the lighter color in the centre.
